AE Wealth Changes
If you are an investment client of ours, you’ll be receiving, or may have already received, a letter from AE Wealth Management. This letter discusses a logistical change that we recently made in our office, which Josh goes over in greater detail in the video below.
Hi there,
I hope you had an enjoyable holiday weekend. If you are an investment client of FSR Wealth Strategies, you’ll be receiving, or may have already received, a letter from AE Wealth Management. This letter discusses a logistical change that we recently made in our office.
For the last 5 years, many of our backroom processes were provided via AE Wealth Management, Ltd. of Topeka, KS. AE Wealth and FSR Wealth Management, Ltd. were considered “Co-Advisors” on each of your investment accounts. As an investment client, you signed an agreement with AE Wealth as well as one with us, FSR Wealth.
We have always been, and continue to be, happy with the service that AE Wealth has provided to you, our client. But as we look to the future, even though we have no reason to do so, we want to be ready to make changes, if necessary, to serve our clients.
The logistical change we made is in regards to FSR’s contractual relationship with AE Wealth. AE Wealth now serves as a Sub-Advisor to FSR as opposed to the old Co-Advisor model we had in the past.
What does that mean to you? This has no impact on the services we provide to you. Your accounts all stay the same with no changes. The only difference to you with this change is you will no longer have a contract with AE Wealth but only with FSR. This allows us the freedom, if necessary, in the future, to make changes for your benefit.
What do you need to do? You do not need to do anything (feel free to shred the letter) unless you have questions about this change. If you do have questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to any of us at FSR (630-993-8200).
We have updated our form ADV and CRS as well to reflect that change. Those updates can be found at FSRWealth.com/ADV.
We look forward to talking to you soon!
